Frequently Asked Questions FQAs

Why do you not do a DVD only package?

As an artist it is important for me to give you the best possible wedding photos I can.   An album ensures you get to enjoy your  wedding pictures at their very best. Designing your  book  is in itself a skill and I take great pride in this.  My fine art albums are bespoke and hand bound, printed on high quality  fine art paper with superb colour accuracy.
Unfortunately colour accuracy is something I can’t control when you view or print your images from a disc. I am confident therefore with this approach that you will have a set of beautiful photos which are truly representative of the quality of my work.

I am aware that cost can be a major factor when planning your wedding, and for this reason I have included a package which is very competitively priced (Ennerdale), but still includes a beautiful photo book and allows you to enjoy this quality of photography.

Do I get all the photos you take?

After your wedding I personally edit your wedding photos, removing duplicates and unflattering images and processing them to a high standard.
You then receive all photos which pass edit on a bespoke USB stick.

All photos are also available for your friends and family to see on a password protected client viewer.

Do you offer framed prints?

Yes. Beautiful photos deserve beautiful presentation.  I take great care in selecting contemporary, high quality frames.

When will I get to see my photos?

I aim to have your wedding photos available to view in my online gallery within 2 weeks of your wedding date. This is ideal for when you return from honeymoon. Time-scale for producing your album is variable dependent on time taken for selection of photos etc.

How do I make a booking?

Once you have checked that I am available for your wedding date, a £350 booking fee is required to confirm the booking. This can be paid by or bank transfer. Ideally I like to meet with you around the time of making your booking to discuss more details of your wedding day and address any questions you may have.

How far will you travel to photograph a wedding?

I am based in Ulverston, Cumbria and will happily travel to a wedding anywhere in the Lake District, Cumbria or within 2hour  driving distance from Ulverston, e.g. Lancaster, Morecambe, Kirkby Lonsdale or Western Yorkshire Dales.  I am happy to consider any weddings outside this area, but travel costs and expenses would be charged in addition to the usual photography prices. Please enquire for details regarding this. (The Bahamas would be very nice!)
